A woman sits alone in a room surrounded by venetians. She is being interrogated. Is she guilty or innocent?
A highly physical solo work inspired by the work of Corporeal Mime Master Steven Wasson. Combining classical gesture, corporeal mime, with the feel of film noir, this piece, without one word, expresses a private moment of darkness within a public sphere. Audiences observe her through an installation of venetians.
Premiered at Melbourne Fringe and at the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Twentieth Anniversary at the Recital Centre, Melbourne
